MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University's Renato Lombardi will meet Nunez Academy's Mark Losev at 2 p.m. Tuesday for the Nunez Open men's tennis singles championship at Buccaneer Tennis Center.
Lombardi came from behind to beat Franco Echenique, playing as an independent, 3-6, 6-4, 6-1, in Monday's semifinal. Losev defeated Barry's Ollie Lemaitre in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, to reach the finals.
Losev, a junior affiliated with the academy, beat Barry's Romain Costamagna earlier in the tournament.
Lombardi is 3-0 in the event. Lemaitre went 2-1.
