Men's Tennis Earns No. 1 Billing in Country

SKILLMAN, N.J. -- Barry University's men's tennis team is the No. 1-ranked team in the nation, as released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

The NCAA Division II defending national champions are coming off the only undefeated season for any Barry University athletics team in school history after going 29-0 to capture the 2013 title in Surprise, Ariz.

Barry is followed by NCAA runner-up Armstrong Atlantic, West Florida, Lynn and Hawai'i Pacific.

Fabian Groetsch is one of three singles players who earned national rankings. He will enter the spring as the No. 12-ranked singles player in the country. Leo Vivas is ranked No. 37 and Kevin Sielmann No. 41.

Groetsch and newcomer Ahmed Triki are ranked No. 14 in doubles.
