As we head Back to Barry, we have implemented policies and protocols designed to promote a culture of safety at Barry University. Please review the Back to Barry Guide for detailed information about our plans.

Refer to the Back to Barry Guide for information specific to University sponsored travel. With respect to coming to a university location after personal or business travel, all travelers, domestic or international, should be vigilant in following recommended precautions to prevent exposure for themselves or others.
For 10 days after international or domestic travel utilizing public transportation, including in-state travel to a county with high or increasing COVID-19 transmission, travelers should stay home to the extent possible and avoid contact with people at higher risk for severe illness. This can be shortened to 7 days if a COVID-19 test is negative on day 5 after travel.
It is the expectation that students, faculty and staff who travel over break and/or attended gatherings with individuals outside of their quarantine “bubble” will have a COVID-19 test 2-3 days prior to returning to a campus or location if travel or gatherings occurred less than 14 days before coming to a Barry location. Additionally, it is expected that individuals who traveled back to a campus or location will have another COVID-19 test 5 days after traveling.
