Jeremy R. Montague, Ph.D.

Jeremy Montague, Professor of Biology, earned his Ph.D. at Syracuse University, and has been with Barry University since 1983. He began fulltime college teaching in 1982 following seven years of graduate research and teaching assistantships. He has over 30 years of experience in published scientific research, focusing mainly on statistical work in ecology, marine biology and cell biology, and on geospatial information systems (GIS) analyses in human ecology. He teaches introductory biology, botany, zoology, ecology, marine biology and evolution. Dr. Montague is the Program Chair for the Florida Academy of Sciences, and is Secretary for the Barry University Chapter of the Sigma Xi National Honor Society.
