Transfer students and/or second degree earners who would like to apply for the cardiovascular perfusion program, must provide the following:
- A completed online undergraduate application by creating a myBarry account. Applying online is highly encouraged because it expedites the admission process and there is no application fee.
- Official transcripts from all previous institutions attended
- A personal statement
- Three letters of recommendation
- An open heart observation
After a review of academic performance and an interview with the CVP Admissions Committee, suitability for progression into the Cardiovascular Perfusion coursework will be determined.
Transfer students are admitted to the program only once a year in the fall and enrollment is limited. To be considered for admission into the Cardiovascular Perfusion program as a transfer or second degree earner, you must have completed the Health Professions Foundation coursework and the required general distribution coursework. Completion of the admission file is the sole responsibility of the applicant.
