“Immigration Justice” Mini-Conference

On Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, Barry University will host its annual one-day mini conference inspired by the 2015 Common Curricular Theme: “Immigration Justice.” This exciting all-day event includes panel presentations, discussions, guest speakers from local community-based agencies, film screenings, service opportunities, and many other interesting sessions designed to help us explore the social, philosophical, historical, political, economic, and personal dimensions of immigration.

The keynote speaker will be Sister Attracta Kelly, OP, JD, Prioress of the Adrian Dominican Sisters.  Sister Attracta has a distinguished record of serving as an advocate and defender of the rights and protection of immigrants.
