An important step in career development is exploring different career options by gaining hands-on experiences such as job-shadowing. The Career Development Center proposes an alternative Spring Break activity for interested students where they will have an opportunity to spend a day with a professional in their desired field to:
- Observe professionals at work
- Learn what their work entitles and how the work environment functions
- Receive advice from the insider on how to develop the necessary competencies to gain employment in the field.
