MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University men's golf coach Jimmy Stobs announced the signing of Patrick Murray.
Murray, the No. 1-ranked junior and the No. 2-rated amateur in Austria, signed a national letter of intent to play for the Buccaneers' top NCAA Division II program in the fall of 2013.
A native of Brazil, Murray represented Austria in the European Boys Team Championship this fall.
"Patrick has all the attributes that I look for in a player," Barry coach Jimmy Stobs said. "He's a hard worker with a burning desire to get better. He is a great fit into the program, and the university."
Murray's sister Daniela Murray plays for the women's golf team at Barry.
