Blessed Yom Kippur

Blessed Yom Kippur

The Department of Campus Ministry wishes Barry University’s Jewish students, faculty, and a blessed and holy Yom Kippur full of God´s tender mercy and peace.

Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year in Judaism, and the last of the Jewish High Holy Days that begin with Rosh Hashanah. On this day, Jews from across cultures throughout the world practice atonement for sin by fasting, praying and performing charitable works, as well as attending synagogue services.
