Men's Tennis: Bucs Sextet Advance at Pembroke Lakes

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. -- Six Barry University men's tennis players moved on to the Round of 16 at the Pembroke Lakes Invitational Saturday at Pembroke Lakes Golf & Racquet Club.

Barry's Fabian Groetsch and Kevin Sielmann each won two matches, as did Fabian Pronnet, who beat teammate Renato Lombardi in the second round. Nico Dreer, Austin Cruz and Franco Echenique all won one match after receiving opening-round byes.

Ahmed Triki won his first match before dropping the second, as did Ajdin Tahirovic and Lombardi.

Sunday's play begins at 10:45 a.m.

The tournament is scheduled to conclude with Monday's semifinals and finals.
