MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—Replacing the four seniors on this year’s women’s basketball team will be a big task for head coach Bill Sullivan, but he has the process off on the right foot with the early signing of guard Juhnae Richardson from Riverview High in Sarasota, Fla.

“We are thrilled that Juhnae will be a member of our women’s basketball family next year,” Sullivan said. “We like the fact that Juhnae is not only a superb athlete and a talented basketball player, but she is also an excellent student and a leader on and off the court. She is a hard worker who will give us speed and quickness on both ends of the court at the guard position.”

Richardson, who also excels in track, has led the Rams to a 6-4 mark after 10 games, averaging 13.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, three assists, & three steals per game. On Dec. 3, she led Riverview to a 50-47 win over Palm Harbor University High, dealing the Lady Canes their first loss of the season. She scored a game-high 23 points and added three rebounds, four assists and four steals as the Rams extended their win streak to four games.
