Barry University men's basketball team will play Nyack Friday and Winston-Salem State Saturday at the Embassy Suites Boca Raton Classic at Lynn University. Both games tip off at 5:30 p.m.
This marks the Buccaneers first games away from Miami Shores since opening the regular season Nov. 14.

The No. 8-ranked Buccaneers (6-1) are coming off their first loss of the season, a 78-73 setback to No. 9 Indianapolis in the Cruzin' Classic at Barry on Tuesday. Barry outrebounded the Greyhounds, 43-40, marking the ninth straight opponent the Bucs have beaten on the boards, including exhibition games against NCAA Division I Top 10 Louisville and Florida on the road.
Barry had 21 assists in Tuesday's loss, which was one above the Bucs' average coming into the week. BarryU's 20 assists per game entering the week ranked eighth in the country.
Nyack (N.Y.) has lost its last six games. The Warriors (2-7) are averaging 62.8 points per game, and allowing 73.3. Khalid Samuels is scoring 12.1 points per game. Nick Moore (11.7 ppg, 6.1 reb) and Chris Hampton (10.9, 34.7 3-point) are also double figure scorers. Yahmir Greenlee is scoring 9.8 points and shooting just under 51 percent from the field.
Winston-Salem State (6-1) has won five in a row, including victories over South Carolina-Aiken, Belmont Abbey and Fairmont State. The Rams are averaging over 86 points per game and allowing opponents to score 73.
WyKevin Bazemore is scoring 13.7 points and 12.4 rebounds, while shooting 51 percent from the floor. Terrell Leach is averaging 13.7 points and 2.4 steals, while shooting 48 percent from the floor. Marquez Jones is scoring 13.1 points.
