The Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness invites the Barry community to join a team for intramural basketball. This year, there will be two divisions: coed and women-only.
This year's league will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from March 10,2015 – Thursday, April 23, 2015 (including playoffs). Interested participants are encouraged to visit www.IMLeagues.com/barry for roster, rules, or registration information.
2015 Intramural Basketball Information:
- Two Divisions: 5-vs-5 co-ed league and women-only
- League cost: $20 deposit per team. This is a “forfeit fee” – if a team does not forfeit any games the deposit is returned to the team
- Games will be held from 6:00 – 11:00, three days a week
- Max roster of ten (10) players. Registration information is on back of flyer
- Certified officials at every game
- Intramural team shirts for sale (optional). $75.00 for 10 numbered shirts (supply is limited)
- Only students with a current Barry ID card, or faculty, staff, and alumni members with valid ID cards, are eligible to participate. NO EXECPTIONS
- NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
There will be a mandatory captain's meeting on Thursday, February 26 at 5 p.m. (Health & Sports Center – Media Hospitality Room). Individuals without a team must also attend. All other participants may attend.
