During Barry’s 75th anniversary year, we are pleased to present the personal interviews of 25 Adrian Dominican Sisters and how their lives influenced the history and culture of the University. Sisters who served as faculty, administrators and presidents were interviewed as well as those who experienced Barry through important historical changes. These short feature stories capture the spirit of the University as they are told through the sisters’ experiences, and illustrate who we are and how we became Barry University.
The goal of the Living History Project is to preserve these stories for generations to come as we honor our Adrian Dominican heritage and the Sisters’ contribution to making Barry what it is today. The Founding our Future video will be shown to the University community during Founders’ Week 2015.
