Dr. Andrea Keener, dean of the School of Professional and Career Education, visited Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami Aug. 25 as part of an on-going partnership between the organization and Barry University.
Dr. Keener conducted an employee workshop in which she discussed stress management and disasters. More than 30 employees attended the workshop. Dr. Keener presented strategies and information on how to deal with the many stresses we face on a daily basis and how to cope during times of disaster.
The event was held at the Big Brothers Big Sisters new facility, Carnival Center of Excellence, in Miami.
