Community Engagement Awards: Call for Nominations

Community Engagement Awards: Call for Nominations

Nominations for Barry University’s seventh annual Community Engagement Awards are now open. The awards ceremony will be held on March 25, 2020. The nomination deadline has been extended to Friday, January 31.

The primary purpose of the awards is to publicly recognize students, faculty and staff members, departments, and community partners for their community engagement participation, contributions, and achievements. The awards are also designed to encourage excellence and to inspire similar achievements by others.

There are seven award categories: Community Impact, Community Partnership, Community-Based Research, Engaged Scholarship, Community Engagement Educator, Service-Learning Faculty, and Engaged Department.

The Center for Community Service Initiatives (CCSI) will host the Community Engagement Awards on Barry’s main campus.

The nomination forms are available in the Community Engagement Management System, or CEMS.
