As a scholarly community, Barry University is committed to the highest academic standards, which includes recognizing individuals who distinguish themselves as Outstanding Students. Every year, our school honors these students at the end of the spring semester. This year, we’d like to carry on this tradition in a different fashion.
The video we’re sharing is from esteemed faculty honoring students who have been chosen to receive this annual award. Criteria in nominating Outstanding Students is based on their demonstration of modeling the “integration of study, reflection, and action” in academic and professional pursuits and given to those who consistently illustrate the Core Commitments—Knowledge and Truth, Inclusive Community, Social Justice, and Collaborative Service. In addition, these recipients are exemplary representatives of ADSOE and Barry as a whole through their hard work, perseverance, academic performance, and overall excellence with their educational endeavors and in the communities they serve.
