Dr. Katsiaryna Matusevich joined the Organization Learning and Human Resource Development faculty in the Adrian Dominican School of Education in 2013. Dr. Matusevich holds a PhD in Leadership and Education with the specialization in Human Resource Development from Barry University, an MA in Community Psychology from Sage Graduate School, and a BS in Pedagogical Sciences with the specialization in the English language and literature from Minsk State Linguistic University. Her dissertation, entitled “Exploring Ethical Organizational Culture, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Other Selected Predictors of Work-Related Flow,” proposed a new model for researching the construct of work-related flow. The proposed research framework was strongly supported by the data for the sample used in the study. Dr. Matusevich is currently working on revising her dissertation for publication. In a broader context, her research interests center on exploring factors that promote employees’ well-being and flourishing in organizations.

Dr. Matusevich has taught several courses in the field of HRD, including Consultant Practices and Career Development. For the past three years, she has also taught a Presentation Principles course, where she has utilized a variety of experiential activities to enable students to not only create powerful and memorable presentations but also conduct interactive and dynamic training sessions. Dr. Matusevich has served as a peer-reviewer for Human Resource Development Review (HRDR) for the past two years.

In addition to her academic career, she has consulted within performance enhancement initiatives in several organizations in Miami. Her consulting projects center on organization and leadership development, appreciative inquiry, team building, stress management, customer service, organizational conflict, and conflict management. Dr. Matusevich holds membership with several professional associations including American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD), South Florida Organization Development Network (SFODN), and Southern Management Association (SMA).
