The Department of English and Foreign Languages of Barry University is proud to announce our collaboration in the 6th edition of the Recent Spanish Cinema festival.
The best new films from Spain are coming to Miami and California audiences during a special edition of Recent Spanish Cinema. Adjusting this year for social distancing, the annual LA and Miami film festivals joined forces to produce an event to remember. For a full week beginning Thursday, October 22, a showcase of recently released Spanish films will be available for virtual screening. The showcase also features virtual industry and talent panels as well as select live drive-in showings. Included in the festival are the U.S. premier of Los Europeos, an adaptation of the eponymous novel by Spanish author Rafael Azcona, and the international premier of El Dìa de la Bestia, showing exclusively at Miami’s Drive-In theater on October 29.
