The Family CARE Center offers educational, personal, and professional development opportunities on a variety of topics. Many of these learning opportunities are approved by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling as well as the Florida Council of Dietetics and Nutrition and offer CEs to attendees. In addition, sessions can be developed to meet the needs of the community and professional organizations.
Dr. Bettina Lozzi-Toscano holds a PhD in Counseling from Barry University and has over 15 years of experience in the Mental Health field. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and serves as an onsite clinical auditor for Medicaid regulation. Dr. Lozzi-Toscano maintains a private practice in Kendall and is a Court approved social investigator, timesharing supervisor and supervisor for mental health and marriage and family licensure. Her areas of specialization include high conflict families, family dynamics, co-parenting and working with children and couples. She also provides programmatic and operational workshops and trainings to a variety of agencies.
