Rosie Pumariega, M.A.
Assistant Director, Sport & Exercise Sciences
Rosie Pumariega currently serves as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Programs for the Sport and Exercise Sciences Programs and has been a member of the Barry University Staff since 2000. She is responsible for providing guidance and support to at-risk and assigned students to ensure that they have the best opportunity to achieve their educational goals and obtain academic success. Rosie also maintains enrollment statistics for undergraduate students.
She currently serves as the staff advisor for the Student Veterans of America Club (SVA) and is an instrumental part in the Veteran Resource Office Initiative on campus, which opened in Spring 2018. Rosie holds a Bachelor of Liberal Studies with a concentration in Social Welfare and a Master of Arts in Administration from Barry University. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Rosie enjoys spending time with her six grandchildren, her husband, and doing arts and crafts.
