Four Barry faculty members honored as 2018 Top Black Educators

Four Barry University faculty members have been named 2018 Top Black Educators by Legacy Magazine. Barry’s honorees join a list of other black educators in Miami-Dade County who are paving the way for students as they enrich their education. The award honors those educators “who play an integral role in shaping the lives of our young people and our society.”

Honorees from Barry University represent the Schools of Business and Social Work, and the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. They include:

“These four educators embody the mission and Core Commitments of Barry University through enthusiastic faithfulness to their daily responsibilities and the positive impact they have on their students,” said Barry University President Sister Linda Bevilacqua, OP, PhD. “This recognition is well-deserved.”

Established in 2004, Legacy Magazine provides news and information to Florida’s Black affluencers and Influencers. Legacy is a news/business publication serving Florida’s black professional community with insightful articles and information on business, careers, politics, lifestyle, culture and social commentary.
