Job Description: Human Performance and Wellness Program Graduate Research Assistant
Graduate Research Assistantships (GRA) are offered through the Sport and Exercise Sciences Programs. The GRA will report directly to the Program Coordinator.
The Human Performance and Wellness (HPW) Program Coordinator will be the GRA’s supervisor and will meet with the GRA on a regular basis to discuss past, present, and future job performance. Priority will be given to 2nd year students for hiring. However, if a first year student is hired, he/she must reapply if interested in the position for the following year.
Must be an accepted applicant to the HPW program with a paid deposit in order to be considered for the position.
Responsibilities – 20 Hours per week
Assisting HPW graduate faculty with essential elements of scientific inquiry: data collection and entry, participant recruitment, assisting with grant applications, literature reviews, pilot testing, and scholarly writing.
Assisting the lab managers as liaison to other students in the HPW program.Other duties as assigned by the HPW Program Coordinator.
