Phi Alpha Delta welcomes six new members at induction ceremony

On Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, the Barry University Pre-Law Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International held its fall induction ceremony of new members. The Barry University Pre-Law Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta welcomed six new members who are committed to upholding the highest ethics of the legal profession, to advancing the ideals of liberty and equal justice under the law, to fostering personal integrity and professional competence, and to promoting the welfare of its members so that they may enjoy a lifetime of honorable professional service. 

Phi Alpha Dalta’s newest members are Melanie Gomez Derosa, Isaac Maldonado, Joseph Pacheco, Selena Pierre Jacques, Sheineca Rolack, and Adianis Suarez.

Barry University’s chapter of Phi Alpha Delta was established more than twenty years ago under the sponsorship of the Department of History and Political Science. Phi Alpha Delta, established in 1902, has grown to 196 chapters chartered at law schools in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.  The establishment of Pre-Law Chapters of the Fraternity was approved in 1980 with the first chapter organized in the spring of 1981.
