We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities, examples include:
- Practice Interviews - come to campus for an hour and participate in practice interviewing 3-4 students in 15 to 20 minute sessions in order to prepare the students for interviews.
- Coffee Chat - Coffee Chat is a program in which we provide the coffee, pastries, and 5-7 students for a more personal discussion about what your experience practicing law is like in our community.
- Participate in a Community Service Project - the Career Services Office volunteers monthly at different organizations within the Central Florida community. Come be a part of making a difference! Past opportunities include: Creating habitats at the Central Florida Zoo, Serving Breakfast at Give Kids the World, Volunteering at the Celebration Marathon, Stocking the Shelves at Second Harvest Food Bank and more!
- Participate as a Speaker for one of our Student Organizations - Our Student Organizations are always looking for local attorneys to come on campus and speak about a variety of topics that fit with their organization’s mission. These can be in the form of an information session, panel discussion or presentation.
Contact us for more information on one or more of these opportunities by calling us at 321-206-5660 or emailing us at lawCSO@barry.edu.
