Paola Moreno named assistant dean of Barry's Andreas School of Business

Barry University’s Andreas School of Business named Paola M. Moreno as assistant dean. Moreno will be responsible for helping newly appointed business school dean, Dr. Tomislav Mandakovic, manage the master of business administration (MBA) programs through work with admissions and alumni among other responsibilities.

Prior to her role at Barry, Moreno worked with Florida International University as associate director for the international programs in the graduate school of business. Moreno earned a master’s of business administration degree in finance from Florida International University in 2003 and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia.

“I am so glad to be joining the Barry University community; Barry has an appealing environment, a small, tight-knit community where one can grow with and feel close to the faculty and staff,” Moreno said.

Moreno serves as a mentor for Strong Women and Strong Girls (SWSG), a community service organization empowering young girls with leadership skills and cultivating relationships. She is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.
