National Society of Hispanic MBAs and the Andreas School of Business partner up

Barry University’s Andreas School of Business is joining forces with the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA). Through the help of the University Partnership Program, Barry’s school of business will afford qualified students with scholarships.

NSHMBA and Barry University, Andreas School of Business are committing to providing scholarships to students pursuing a Master of Business Administration each academic year. Students in good standing (minimum grade point average of 3.0) are eligible to receive an award covering partial to full tuition. Preference may be given, but is not limited to, students of Hispanic heritage or students with a demonstrated commitment to the Hispanic community. Students will also have a chance to attend the NHSMBA’s annual conference and career expo.

“This new strategic alliance is a complement to the academic excellence of Barry’s graduate Business education, which does not only rely on an utmost academic standard but on ethical and moral values,” said Andreas School of Business Dean, Tomislav Mandakovic.

The business school dean explains the partnership with NSHMBA furthers Barry’s commitment to the Hispanic community by opening additional doors to professional and network building opportunities.

“We expect to continue our support and commitment to the university’s mission by expanding and embracing the great diversity of our student population, through this and other partnerships,” Mandakovic said.
