QEP Review of Ideas

QEP Review of Ideas

The Provost and Vice President for Mission & Institutional Effectiveness invite students, faculty, and staff to a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Review of ideas

Tuesday, January 22, 2013 | 4 – 5 p.m.
Landon  Student Union Lobby

Representatives from the Institutional Effectiveness Committee will be available to discuss your thoughts and gain input regarding ideas for Barry University’s QEP.  Students, faculty, staff, and administrators are asked to stop by one of the tables in Thompson Hall or Landon to identify your top 3 priorities from the top 10 that have been identified by the participants in the four brainstorming sessions held during the fall term.  Thank you for your involvement and engagement in this key process for Barry.

A Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is a plan developed by the University community that will enhance undergraduate student learning in a specific and measureable way.  A QEP is required by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS – COC), our accreditation organization.

During the fall 2012 term, faculty, staff, administrators, and students participated in one of four brainstorming sessions.  Over 90 broad ideas were generated that could be developed into a specific QEP.  Please help us select our top three priorities.
