Tyler Hardy Selected To SSC All-Newcomer Squad

KISSIMMEE, Fla.—Barry’s junior guard Tyler Hardy was selected to the 2013 Sunshine State conference All-Newcomer Team by conference coaches.

Hardy, a transfer from Wayne State in Michigan, was second on the team in scoring at 11.8 points per game and led the team in rebounding at 6.8 per game.

She shot 48.0 percent from the floor and 75.0 percent from the line. In 26 games, 18 starts, she led the team in scoring nine times and rebounding 12.

The rising senior is one of 10 players expected back from the Buccaneers 14-12 (regular season record) team.
