Phi Beta Delta Honor Society For International Scholars

This honor society is the first honor society dedicated to recognizing scholarly achievement in international education. Nationally established in 1987, Barry University became the Eta Phi Chapter of Phi Beta Delta in 2012. The Greek letters of Phi Beta Delta stands for love of knowledge, valuing human life, and achieving excellence. Phi Beta Delta’s mission encourages professional, intellectual, and personal achievements in the field of International Education which fits well with the institutional mission in embracing a global worldview. Through months of planning and preparing, Eta Phi Chapter will be inducting 18 new members into its founding class. With support from faculty, staff, and students, Eta Phi Chapter of Phi Beta Delta will hold its induction ceremony in April 11,  2013.

 With this,  Phi Beta Delta will live out the Society’s motto: “Scientia Mutua Mundi” (World’s Shared Knowledge).
