American Psychological Foundation(APF)

Title:
Pre-College Psychology Grant Program

Deadline:
May 1, 2013

Synopsis:  
The program provides financial support for efforts aimed at improving the quality of education in psychological science and its application in secondary schools for talented students. Proposals must focus on supporting the education of talented high school students.

Funding:
Award ceiling is $20,000.

Funding Agency:
Gates Foundation

Title:
Accelerating the Common Core Through Teacher Networks

Deadline:
April 22, 2013

Synopsis:
The foundation is accepting proposals to support implementation of Common Core State Standards in literacy and mathematics. Priority will be given to innovative approaches which create scalable solutions that travel across networks quickly and broadly.

Funding:
Award range is from $100,000 to $500,000.

Title:
Human Fulfillment Research

Deadline:
May 15, 2013 (Letter of Intent)

Synopsis:
Funding is available for projects that contribute to the ongoing development of rigorously scientific and readily actionable insights into the human experience of purpose and that use behavioral science to explain or inform the ways that people pursue, experience, or fulfill purpose in their lives.

Funding:
Award ceiling is $250,000.
