William Lehman (1913-2005) developed a close, long-standing association with Barry University. Before retiring from the U.S. Congress, where he served from 1973 until 1993, the Congressman made arrangements to donate his papers to Barry University.  In July 1992, Lehman was appointed Adjunct Professor at Barry University.

The display features documents related to the Congressman’s work on the Foreign Operations Subcommittee, the release of Cuban prisoners, and the impact of Haitian and Cuban immigrants.
