The Jewish Holiday of Sukkot takes place from Wednesday, Sept. 18 to Friday, Sept. 27. Join us for a pizza party and an explanation of the holiday.

Time: 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
Location: Broad Auditorium South Lawn

The Sukkah

The Hebrew Bible describes how God safeguarded the Jews as they traveled through the desert on their way to the Promised Land. The Sukkah is a tent-like structure that Jews erect each year to remind them that God is the ultimate protector. Certainly, such a flimsy tent could not have protected the people from the hazards of the wilderness had God not been watching over them the entire way!

Bring your meal and eat in the Sukkah at any time!
