MAPS Student Health Fair boasts continued growth in second year

On March 25, 2014, the Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS) hosted its 2nd Annual student health fair to bring health information and services to the Barry student body.

The fair presented Barry students with the opportunity to receive a range of health-related experiences including chiropractic screenings, CPR certification training, information on healthcare plans, and health and wellness information. Health fair vendors were on hand to lend their services and discuss the importance of healthy living. Vendors included One Beat CPR, Cloverleaf Chiropractic, Humana and The Icla Da Silva Foundation, representatives of which signed up students for the Be The MatchTM bone marrow registry.

MAPS would like to thank all the health professionals, representatives from the Student Organization Council (SOC) and the Barry student body for making this event possible.
