Box Tops for Education Collection Drive Update from MAPS and CCSI

The Minority Association of Pre-health Students (MAPS) and the Center for Community Service Initiatives (CCSI) would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your participation in the Box Tops for Education Drive that was started in February of last year. In spite of the fact that many of you are already saving Box Tops for your children's schools, we had enough participation that between February and October, 2014, we collected almost 1000 box tops benefiting North Miami Elementary.

North Miami Elementary was grateful to be the substitute recipient when North Miami Middle decided to discontinue their Box Tops program. With your help, we more than doubled the number of Box Tops North Miami Elementary collected on their own (we added 867 Box Tops to the 600 they already had). As you can see, your help made a significant impact.

We will continue this as a year-round initiative to benefit North Miami Elementary. Remember it is very easy to participate. Simply identify the Box Tops logo on household products you already purchase including many grocery items, and cut the logo from the packaging.

You may view a list of eligible products here: http://www.boxtops4education.com/-/media/BoxTops/FlyersAndDownloads/Participating-Products-Flyer.pdf

You may submit your Box Tops in the donation boxes on campus. If there is not a donation box in your area, you may request one. Alternatively, you may send your Box Tops donations to Dr. Stephanie Bingham, Department of Biology, NHS 309, via interoffice mail or contact her to arrange pick up directly from your office.
