Miami Music Festival opens it’s symphonic season with the MMF Symphony Orchestra playing Mahler’s Symphony No. 6 this Saturday, July 9. Nicknamed the “tragische” or “tragic” symphony, Mahler’s Symphony No. 6 is an exciting exploration of contrasts and emotions, a challenging undertaking for this year’s symphonic debut. Don’t miss Friday’s opera aria concert at the Cor Jesu Chapel, featuring singers in a wide range of operatice showpieces, as well!
