Dr. Rick Garcia (’14), a nursing alumnus from Barry’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences, has been selected to be a member of HOSA’s Hall of Fame. HOSA is an international student organization whose mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.
Garcia’s induction into the HOSA Hall of Fame will formally take place June 21 in Orlando during the organization’s International Leadership Conference. Garcia and four others will be honored for their outstanding service, contributions and dedication to HOSA-Future Health Professionals. He was nominated by his peers and was selected by HOSA’s Board of Directors.
