Dr. Michael Long, DNP, CRNA, published in the Open Journal of Anesthesiology

Dr. Michael Long, DNP, CRNA, published his manuscript “Intraoperative Gastric Tube Intubation: A Summary of Case Studies and Review of the Literature” in the March edition of the “Open Journal of Anesthesiology”. The manuscript is the result of Long’s work in the Doctor of Nursing Practice with Specialization in Anesthesiology at Barry University.

Long earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University in 2005 and his Doctor of Nursing Practice with Specialization in Anesthesiology from Barry University in 2015. He works as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

Long’s co-publishers on the manuscript were Melissa Machan, DNP, CRNA, with Barry University’s anesthesiology programs in Hollywood, Fla., and Dr. Luis Tollinche with Plantation General Hospital in Plantation, Fla.
