We are relieved that Hurricane Irma has passed. We remain most concerned for the safety of
all Barry University students , faculty and staff in St. Croix, the Bahamas, and throughout the
state of Florida.
Normal University operations are suspended until further notice.
Scheduled activities and athletic events are cancelled.
Classes remain cancelled at ALL locations.
The earliest classes will resume on the Miami Shores campus, the Orland Law School campus
and at all other Barry locations will be Monday, September 18th. It may be necessary to
revise the academic calendar for this fall semester; we shall share additional information as
decisions are made.
Only Emergency Management, Public Safety and Facilities Personnel (University ID’s will
be required for access) are permitted on the Miami Shores campus and the Orlando campus.
