All Barry University students, faculty, and staff are invited to dress in 80’s attire and spend a fun and festive afternoon filled with student performances, games, food, and team competitions during Barry's Community Fest. Activities include team competitions such as musical chairs, bed races, obstacle course, with food trucks, novelties and give away items.

TEAM COMPETITION INFORMATION:
Barry Students, Faculty and Staff are encouraged to create teams for this year’s community fest competition! The competition will take place during Founders Week on Wednesday, November 14th (3pm-5pm) during Community Fest on the campus mall. The competition includes: Inflatable Obstacle Course, Musical Chairs, Tug-Of-War, Bed Races and more! 6-12 participants are recommended for each team and can be a mix of students and faculty/staff or compromised of just students. Student groups and resident halls are highly encouraged to participate as well as individual departments and divisions throughout the institution. Show your Barry Spirit by dressing up in 80’s-gear for this year’s theme! Deadline to register is Friday November 9th. Email Campus Recreation Director EliOlken-Dann (eolkendann@barry.edu) for more information and to receive your registration packet. Or just stop by Campus Recreation & Wellness (Landon 112). The winning team will receive the prestigious Community Fest trophy as well as bragging rights across the institution as the Kings of Community Fest!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
We need your help to make it a success! Please consider volunteering for a couple of hours before, during, or after the event. Any time commitment you can make is greatly appreciated.
Volunteers will be assigned to help with registration, novelty, giveaways, waivers, team competitions, etc.
