As part of the First-Year Experience, the New Student Investiture is the official welcoming ceremony for new students to Barry University. This ceremony is mandatory for all new students, as it is an important and traditional step in coming to Barry University.

Held right after fall Orientation, the New Student Investiture highlights the opening chapter of college life for entering students. During the ceremony, students are presented with a pin that represents their commitment to the University and Barry’s commitment to their success.
