Barry University to Host TedxBarryU
(Miami, FL) On Thursday, February 20th, Barry University will host TedxBarryU at the David Brinkley Studio at Barry’s main campus in Miami Shores. This event, the first of its kind at Barry, will feature talks from seven thought leaders on the theme Designing our Future. Topics range from “Why Sports Will Save Our Humanity” to “Will We Use Our Intelligence to Plan for the Best Outcome or Let Nature Surprise Us?” and “Dear Fear, It’s Not You, It’s Me.”
A student-run initiative, TedxBarryU tickets sold out in less than 48 hours. Organizers seek to design an event that will leave the audience with a positive, constructive message to help them better design the future to enrich the world for upcoming generations.
TedxBarryU will be recorded and organizers plan to submit the video to the Tedx Talks YouTube Channel following the event.
