Transfer Students Orientation
Students who are transferring in the fall from another academic institution, such as a community college or another university, will attend a one-day program for New Student Orientation. You will become acclimated to the academic life on campus by meeting with your advisor and checking out the many schools and majors Barry University has to offer. Once familiar with the academic program of choice, you will finalize your class schedule for the semester. If you are transferring in the spring, there is also an orientation program offered during that time.
Orientation is only mandatory for transfer students who have fewer than 30 college credits. If you have more than 30 credits, then orientation is optional, but strongly suggested.
There are no on-campus accommodations during the one-day program.
The following dates are one-day orientation sessions for transfer students. Each day will be an all day program that will begin at 7:00 am and end at 6:00 pm. Students only have to attend one of the sessions listed below.
