Transfer Students - Barry 101
Students who are transferring in the fall from another academic institution, such as a community college or another university, will attend a one-day Barry 101 sessions. You will become acclimated to the academic life on campus by meeting with your advisor and check out the many schools and majors Barry University has to offer. Once familiar with the academic program of choice, you will finalize your class schedule for the semester. If you are transferring in the spring, there is also a Barry 101 program offered during that time.
New Student Orientation (August 19 – 21) is only mandatory for transfer students who have fewer than 30 college credits. If you have more than 30 credits, then New Student Orientation is optional, but strongly suggested.
