Archives and Special Collections department hosts an exhibit to welcome incoming Barry University President, Dr. Mike Allen, and celebrates the achievements of Adrian Dominican Sisters who served as past Barry Presidents 1940 to 2019.
Honoring the legacy of Mother Gerald Barry, Mother Genevieve Weber, Sister Dorothy Browne, Sister Trinita Flood, Sister Jeanne O’Laughlin and Sister Linda Bevilacqua, the exhibit includes commemorative materials from their inauguration as presidents, correspondence, awards, announcements, publications and photographs highlighting events documenting their presidency.
Visitors may view the exhibit in the University Archives, Lehman 201, from July 1 through Oct. 30. Archives is open Monday to Friday from 9 am - 5 pm.
