Barry University’s commitment to Social Justice calls us “to foster peace and non-violence, to strive for equality, to recognize the sacredness of Earth, and to engage in meaningful efforts toward social change.” Please join guest speakers and community members in a series of Peace Week activities.

CONSTITUTION DAY CELEBRATION

Tuesday, September 17

Celebrate the signing of the U.S. Constitution and learn how the protection of individual civil rights through this document is essential for promoting and protecting peace in a modern, diverse society.

The Peace-In is an annual event at Barry University to commemorate the UN’s International Day of Peace. It features a series of free workshops for students, faculty, staff, and community members focusing on better understanding various forms of violence and on the promotion of peace, justice, and human rights.
