Hurricane Isaias Update #4

As of 5pm, a Hurricane Warning is in effect for the east coast of Florida from Boca Raton to the Volusia/Brevard County line. A Hurricane Watch is in effect for Broward County, and a Tropical Storm Warning for Miami-Dade County.  Much of the east coast of Florida is under watches and warnings. Please refer to the latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center for information on specific locations. To allow students and faculty to prepare, and to account for the unpredictability of this storm, all Barry University classes are suspended Saturday, August 1st and Sunday, August 2nd.

A Hurricane Warning remains in effect for parts of the Bahamas. Classes in the Bahamas remain suspended today, July 31st through Sunday, August 2nd.

The Barry University Command Decision Team (CDT) will continue to monitor the path of Hurricane Isaias and provide updates as conditions warrant.
