New COVID-19 Contact Tracing Procedure

New COVID-19 Contact Tracing Procedure

We are pleased to announce that beginning today, Scrivas, a physician-led contact tracing and medical documentation company, will be performing COVID-19 contact tracing as needed within our Barry University community.

With timely and professional communication, Scrivas will help identify and mitigate risk within our community in order to limit any potential spread of COVID-19. Previously, Student Health Services handled contact tracing among students and Human Resources did the same for faculty and staff. This new solution will further streamline our processes for the Spring 2021 semester.

As a reminder, any student, faculty or staff member, or contingent worker experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, exposed to COVID-19, or with a confirmed case of COVID-19 must continue to complete the COVID-19 Initial Notification Form. Upon receipt of the form, Scrivas will initiate appropriate contact tracing procedures.

We look forward to this new partnership as we continue guarding against the spread of COVID-19 within our university community. As always, thank you for your cooperation, support, and for doing your part by adhering to our current protocols and promoting a culture of safety at Barry University.
