Survivors Speak Out: #MeToo

Survivors Speak Out: #MeToo

It is important for survivors of sexual assault, harassment, or abuse to have their voices heard and believed.

It is essential for all social workers to listen to the voices of survivors to hear what they need from us to promote healing and empowerment.

If you are a survivor who wants to share your story, or if you just want to listen and learn, please join us for a SAAM event that will change the way you think about prevention of sexual violence. We welcome Dr. Alissa Ackerman, a sex crimes researcher and survivor herself, who will share her inspiring story of post-traumatic growth and recovery. Scroll down for the details! Pizza will be served.
