Ashley Wright joined Barry University’s School of Social Work in the Fall of 2018. She teaches Introduction to Social Work. She has served in areas of organizational research, foster care, community health and international humanitarian crisis. Her current macro practice interests include policy changes and social justice in the arenas of immigration, environment and chronic poverty. She is trained and certified in mind-body modalities with geriatrics through the Area Agency on Aging. Her vision for her role as an Administrator is to provide a program that excels in academics, is rich with diversity, offers inspiring experiences and empowers students to build careers that serve the community with professionalism and passion.
