Ready, Set, Go

Ready, Set, Go

Ready, Set, Go offers concentration year students an opportunity to engage in advanced clinical practice methodologies such as dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and other trauma focused therapies.  For continuing concentration - year students (SW 675 and SW 689 A), the second portion of this day will consist of additional opportunities to engage in case conceptualization and case study presentations.  For students that are graduating at the conclusion of this semester (SW 689 or SW 689 B), the second part of this day will focus on navigating the Licensure Labyrinth.  This licensure preparatory course offers students an opportunity to take practice exams, engage in a critical review of questions, develop test-taking strategies, and understand the statutes governing Florida licensure.
